USER-GENERATED CONTENT POLICY

This User-Generated Content Policy ("UGC Policy") governs all content submitted by Users, such as text, videos, comments, links, and other materials ("User-Generated Content" or “UGC”) to the Bloggshouse social network (hereinafter referred to as "Platform") and is in conjunction with Our Terms of Service [link], EULA [link] and Privacy Policy [link].
For the purposes of this UGC Policy:
- the term “Company” means BHC PLATFORMS FZCO, registered at the address: 29214-001, IFZA Business Park, DDP, Dubai, UAE. The Company can also be referred to as “We”, “Us”, or “Our” in the UGC Policy.
- the term "User" means a person who has registered the Account on the Platform and uses it to socialize, post content and interact with other Users or uses the Platform services without registering such an Account. Users may interact with the Platform without creating an Account; however, its interaction is limited to viewing content via Web version only. Users also can be referred to as “You”, “Your” in the Terms. Users also can be referred to as “You”, “Your” in the UGC Policy.
Our UGC Policy is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and legal environment for all Users. By uploading or creating UGC on Our Platform or using the Platform/Services, You agree to abide by this UGC Policy, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, EULA and any applicable laws and regulations. If You do not agree to all of these terms, do not submit UGC to the Platform and do not use the Platform/Services.
For the purposes of this UGC Policy, any terms that are not explicitly defined herein shall be interpreted as follows: (1) as per their definition in the Terms of Services of the Platform; should such a definition not be provided within the Terms of Services, then (2) in accordance with the contextually relevant meaning as provided by this UGC Policy and (3) by the applicable laws and regulations. This hierarchy of definitions is intended to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the documentation governing the use of the Platform.
- User Responsibilities
As a User of the Platform, You carry the sole responsibility for any UGC that You post or distribute. By submitting UGC, You affirm, represent, and warrant that You possess all necessary ownership rights or have obtained the requisite licenses, rights, consents, and permissions needed to publish and share the UGC on this Platform. It is Your duty to ensure that Your UGC does not infringe upon the rights of others and complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Content Ownership and Rights
When You post UGC to the Platform, You retain ownership of Your content but grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, perpetual, royalty-free, global license to use, store, display, reproduce, save, modify, create derivative works, perform, and distribute Your content on the Platform and Our associated Services.
PLEASE NOTE! When You upload User-Generated Content labeled as an NFT ("NFT Content") to the Platform, You understand and agree that the sale of such NFT Content through our marketplace will result in the transfer of certain rights exclusively to the buyer. As such, You acknowledge that NFT Content represents a unique asset and that upon its sale, You are relinquishing any further right to sell, distribute, or license the NFT Content.
3. Acceptable UGC Guidelines
3.1. Users must adhere to the following guidelines for any UGC (including but not limited to videos, comments, captions) they upload or create on the Platform:
3.1.1. Respect Community Values. UGC promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual preference, disability, or national origin is strictly prohibited. Do not post UGC intended to intimidate, harass, or bully others.
3.1.2 Observe Copyright and Intellectual Property Laws. Upload or create only UGC that You own or have the right to use. Properly credit all creators and sources if You use their work with their permission.
3.1.3 Prioritize Safety. Do not post UGC that promotes dangerous behaviors, self-harm, or eating disorders. UGC that promotes illegal activities, including drug use or sales, is not allowed.
3.1.4 Uphold Privacy Standards. Do not share personal information about others without consent. Posting private information about others to harass or blackmail is strictly prohibited.
3.1.5 Content Suitability. UGC should be appropriate for a diverse audience, including minors. Avoid posting explicit UGC, including nudity or graphic violence.
3.1.6. Honesty. UGC must not be false, misleading, or deceptive.
3.2. Advertising Content. Users who create advertising or sponsored UGC on Our Platform are required to clearly and unambiguously label such UGC as advertising. This labeling must be sufficiently conspicuous and noticeable so that Users can immediately identify the UGC as advertising. We also expect creators of advertising to comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing advertising and sponsored UGC.
4. Reporting and Enforcement
4.1. If You encounter UGC that You believe infringes upon or violates Our policies, the Company urges You to reach out to the Company’s customer support team directly via email specified in section 7. Prompt reporting is crucial in helping the Company maintain a safe and respectful environment for all Users.
4.2. Our commitment to upholding a secure and compliant community authorizes the Company to take necessary actions against any UGC that falls outside the community guidelines or poses a potential threat to the community or Platform. We reserve the unequivocal right to remove such content at the Company’s discretion. Users found to be in repeated violation of the UGC Policy may be subject to a range of enforcement measures including, but not limited to, temporary suspensions or permanent bans from the Platform.
4.3. We take these measures seriously and enforce them to ensure that the Platform remains a respectful and law-abiding space for dialogue, creativity, and expression.
5. UGC Monetization
5.1. If You qualify for monetization of Your User Generated Content (UGC) on Our Platform, Your participation is contingent upon strict adherence to not only Our UGC Policy but also to Our overarching Terms of Service, Our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, full compliance with Our UGC Policy as well as any additional guidelines the Company provides concerning the creation of advertiser-friendly content.
5.2. To remain eligible for UGC monetization, You must consistently ensure that Your UGC aligns with these standards, which are designed to foster a trustworthy and legally compliant environment for all users and advertisers. Non-compliance with any of these requirements may result in the revocation of Your monetization privileges and other possible penalties.
6. Modifications
The Company may amend these UGC Policy at its sole discretion without any obligation to provide the User with prior notice or seek their consent. If the User has a disagreement with Company, the UGC Policy in effect at the time Company is notified by the User will apply. The User may not transfer any rights or duties stated in the UGC Policy to another party. Conversely, the Company holds the discretion to transfer its rights and duties under the UGC Policy to any third party. Should such a transfer occur, the Company will revise the UGC Policy accordingly.
